Yo-ho, Yo-ho a Pirate Display for Gavin

Gavin currently has his Pirate collection on Display at the Library. He was a little nervous about locking all his beloved loot in the case, but he was assured he'd be able to come back to reclaim his treasure!

Valentine's Day Grandaddy/Grandaughter Dance

My dad's ward had a Daddy Daughter dance the weekend before Valentines Day. She got all dolled up and even got her first corsage! They looked so cute!!

Gavin's New [old] Do

Gavin's fauxhawk just wasn't rockin' like it used to, so we made a trip to Monkey Do's in Riverside for some professional help. (thanks for the tip, Beth) The place was decorated really cute and the Safari Jeep and Cars on the Big Screen made it so much fun!!

All done now!! He has his sucker and his free frog prize and is ready to roll!

3 Days at the Happiest Place on Earth

We had an amazing time at Disneyland & California Adventure the first week in February! The weather was BEAUTIFIL (60-ish) and the lines averaged about 15 minutes or less. Isaac even did much better than expected in his stroller! We went with Brian and Melanie and is was great, we switched off going on all the fun rides and the kids loved getting to ride all the rides two times in a row!!

Halle's Ride Pick: Haunted Mansion & Space Mountain

Gavin's Ride Pick: Being true to his love for Pirates, he responded with Pirates of the Carribean, but he was actually a little afraid of the "hills" this time! Really, he seemed to like Buzz Lightyear the most.

Isaac's Ride Pick: Isaac was not at all enchanted with any of Disneyland, in fact. I think he only enjoyed King triton's Carosel and the fat Catapillar Train at Ca Adventure. He absolutely hated the huge Ferris Wheel at California Adventure, and I guess the swinging cages were a bit much for him!

election day, baby!

I am not sure what I am more excited for tomorrow, our trip to Disneyland or the Presidential Primary! I love election Day and am particularly excited to see the outcome of this primary in Cali.
